Position SummaryThe Territory Manager is responsible for acquiring new business, maintaining and expanding existing relationships, and recovering lost business within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Become a subject‑matter expert on all products and services offered by M&D.
- Understand all stages of the sales cycle and develop growth strategies for the assigned territory.
- Create and maintain a strategic “dream” customer list and pursue opportunities accordingly.
- Stay current on the competitive landscape, identifying M&D’s advantages over suppliers.
- Participate in trade shows, customer events, sales blitzes, and community enrichment opportunities.
- Utilize Salesforce fully to manage and organize all sales activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of business‑to‑business sales experience in the automotive and/or transportation industry.
- Understanding of diesel engine components preferred.
- Ability to exercise judgment and work independently.
- Demonstrated consistency, accuracy, and follow‑through.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment background and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Positive coworker citizenship.
- Ability to lift and carry to 50 lbs.
- Office environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of driving.
- Occasional shop environment exposure to loud noises, dirt, and dust.

Salary DescriptionBase Salary + Bonus Opportunities ($70K – $120K).
