Position: Sales Engineer (Major Accounts)
Location: New York

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to provide technical leadership and business guidance to our regional sales team. You will be responsible for achieving regional revenue goals by driving innovative technical programs and managing account-level activities. This includes evangelizing, positioning, and architecting our hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for Enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to customers and internal staff.
  • Assist in the analysis, design, and development of integrated technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Act as a technical expert to develop solutions that meet customer technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer staff and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and an internal resource for technical issues.
  • Build strong relationships with the account team, partners, and customers.
  • Lead technical sales calls and qualify sales opportunities.

About You:

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a SaaS security or data center/infrastructure environment.
  • Enterprise account experience (2+ years preferred).
  • Driven with a strong “can-do” approach.
  • Fundamental knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong work ethic and resourceful attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple calls/demos per day.
  • High level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel.
  • Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
