What

is the Role?

To support our growth, we’re seeking an Account Executive for our New York team. In this role, you’ll drive new revenue for our media around New York City and beyond. We prefer someone with media experience, but we’re open to an experienced seller looking to break into Advertising & Media sales.

What You Will Accomplish
  • Familiarize yourself with the Out‑Of‑Home (OOH) advertising industry in general, and transit media specifically.
  • Learn about the assets and inventory we offer.
  • Shadow seasoned AE’s & managers – practicing approach, pitching Intersection as a company, and learning about client opportunities.
  • Gain an understanding of your clients’ needs, historical campaigns, and media preferences.
  • Start prospecting and cold‑calling new businesses.
Within Your First 3‑6 Months
  • Have a deep understanding of the OOH industry and how to make strategic pitches.
  • Secure at least one face‑to‑face meeting per day.
  • Focus on strengthening client/agency relationships through regular face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Maintain a steady flow of revenue from new business prospects who will advertise with Intersection.
You’re a Great Fit For This Role
  • Proven success meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong client relationships in New York and a keen understanding of the market.
  • Professional experience selling local media in the New York market (preferred).
  • Self‑starter with excellent time management, decision‑making skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding communication skills; excellent cross‑functional collaboration and teamwork.
  • Competitive mindset, while also being a team player.
