Founding GTM Associate

What we’re looking for

As a founding GTM Associate, you’ll be on the front line of driving Basic Capital’s growth through high-velocity outbound and strategic outreach. The market for retirement benefits moves slow, so we move fast.

You’ll be equipped with best-in-class tooling and data to qualify and route all inbound opportunities generated by our demand generation pods.

Expect a steep learning curve, direct impact on the company’s growth, and the opportunity to move into an AE or leadership role within 90–120 days.

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach

• Contact 100+ prospective customers per day

• Maintain accurate records and prioritize leads in our CRM

• Work closely with growth to build & execute top of funnel strategy

• Previously a top performer in any sales role (At least >1 year of sales experience).

• Strong interest in leveraging modern sales, prospecting, and marketing technology (Clay, Unify, Smartlead, Hey Reach, etc.)

• High-agency self-starter driven to take initiative and create impact.

• You’re always learning, push yourself to do great work, and hold yourself to a high standard in how you do it.

• You’re joining at the earliest stage, where your ideas and actions will directly shape the trajectory of an industry disrupting company.

• Work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will have immediate, tangible effects on the company’s success.

• We move fast and our people do too. We prefer to promote rather than hire, and will likely have many new roles coming in the near future.
