Overview
Intercontinental Exchange Data Services (ICE Data Services) is expanding its global sales organization and looking for high caliber sales professionals to join its growing team. The main function of this role will be selling Connectivity services.
Job PurposeThe Connectivity Sales Executive is a sales hunter who targets the buyers of DMA, hosting, and connectivity solutions to participants in financial markets. The role comes with a remit to expand ICE’s Connectivity business in the Americas through new logo sales and expansion. Also, the Sales Executive will work with existing Account Managers and other IDS Sales Executives to identify opportunities for upsell of Connectivity solutions within the existing ICE Data Services account base.
Key Responsibilities- Exceed sales quota
- Manage territory and work closely with colleagues to identify and close new opportunities
- Manage and develop strong client relationships
- Work closely with the product and business team to provide feedback on any client, prospect or partner requirements
- CRM and pipeline management
- 5+ years sales experience with a focus on financial markets (specifically real time data and trading) and ability to consistently exceed individual sales quota
- Knowledge of trading ecosystem including, compliance, risk and post trade uses cases
- Intimate knowledge of the systems which consume real time data and support institutional trading
- Strong presentation skills
- Competent CRM‑Salesforce skills
- Proficient in pipeline management and forecasting
- Solid negotiation skills
- Track record of high close ratio
- Previous experience working within a networking/data/software vendor, Exchange, or trading firm
The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $100,. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full‑time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
