ISS STOXX is looking for a Sales Specialist to support our sales efforts across the Americas region for our market leading suite of Sustainability & Climate Solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a genuine interest in the area of Sustainable and Responsible investments, along with a financial background and demonstrated sales experience. The role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, the ability to understand front office needs and strong collaboration skills.
** Responsibilities
* ** Achieve revenue goals by identifying and closing upsells for existing clients and sales to prospective clients
* Grow ISS STOXX market share, recognition and perception within the investment management and asset owner community
* Continuously assess Sustainability data market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
* Build and maintain relationships amongst prospects
* Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system
* Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments
** Qualifications
* ** A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience closing new business above target and relationship management within the financial services industry.
* Bachelor or master’s degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred
* Track record of relationship management, business development and / revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners
* Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help set priorities
* Excellent organizational and verbal skills
* Absolute personal and business integrity
Base salary:
The New York City expected base pay range is $85,000 - $120,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
