THE ROLE

Spring Place is seeking a highly motivated Membership Development Manager to drive strategic membership sales and office leasing growth. Reporting directly to the CMO & Head of Membership, this is a junior sales role focused on proactive outreach, relationship conversion, and revenue generation across individual memberships, bulk membership sales, and private office leasing.

This is a sales-oriented role with a strong emphasis on outbound outreach, follow-ups, and closing. While Spring Place is rooted in community, culture, and hospitality, the core objective of this position is to produce membership and office sales through thoughtful strategy, initiative, and execution.

The ideal candidate understands how to sell a premium hospitality product and is eager to learn, execute, and grow within a structured sales environment, while collaborating closely with leadership to develop creative and strategic membership sales opportunities — including new membership structures, group packages, and targeted acquisition initiatives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Membership Sales & Office Leasing
  • Own and drive membership and office leasing sales outreach, including outbound prospecting to individuals, founders, executives, and companies aligned with Spring Place.
  • Source, pitch, and close individual memberships, bulk membership sales, and office leasing opportunities.
  • Work with the CMO & Head of Membership to develop creative, strategic membership sales initiatives, including new membership packages, group offerings, and targeted campaigns.
  • Identify and pursue bulk sales opportunities, including companies, startups, creative teams, investment firms, and aligned organizations.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach through approval, onboarding, and conversion.
  • Conduct tours and sales meetings that clearly communicate the value, culture, and offering of Spring Place.
  • Maintain a clean, organized pipeline with consistent follow-ups and reporting.
  • Execute thoughtful outbound outreach strategies to expand Spring Place’s membership base.
  • Identify referral pathways, partnerships, and networks that can drive volume-based growth.
  • Bring forward insights from outreach, conversations, and independent market research to inform sales strategy.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the member experience and identify gaps, opportunities, or friction points that impact acquisition or retention.
  • Share observations and recommendations with leadership based on lived experience, prospect feedback, and competitive landscape awareness.
  • Maintain awareness of programming, brand initiatives, and the overall member experience to ensure sales conversations are informed and credible.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on where the membership offering, experience, or messaging may need refinement based on market response.
  • Represent Spring Place with polish, clarity, and discretion in all external interactions.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Minimum of two years experience in membership sales, hospitality sales, office leasing, partnerships, or business development.
  • Demonstrated comfort with outbound outreach and follow-ups.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategic curiosity and willingness to contribute ideas.
  • Deep interest in hospitality, culture, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
