Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our showroom location at the New York Design Center! The ideal candidate has interest in and understanding of the luxury home furniture industry. They have worked in or with the interior design trade and can appreciate the challenges that go along with a project. They have a sales background that allows them to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid them in their success using our products.

• Oversee furniture and fabric sales directly with clients on the showroom floor to create sales opportunities and build ongoing client relationships.
• Coordinate and correspond with 3rd party vendors – including stock checks, preparing production orders and invoices, etc.
• Reach out to customers and foster relationships outside of the showroom with clients to increase awareness of and interest in new products, upcoming sales, and showroom events.
• Manage showroom display set-ups and merchandise tracking, including tagging, setting up wings, arranging displays.
• Track sales trends and data based on actual client sales to assist with trend forecasting and buying decisions.
• Track and follow up on all fabric and furniture memos.
• Organize and stock as needed.
• Answer phones and greet customers.
• Arrange for pick-ups and deliveries to and from clients’ locations, the company warehouse, etc.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Salary + commission.
• Other special projects as assigned.
