Retail Sales Associate Event Staff - Watkins Glen Intl

WATKINS GLEN, a premier road racing facility, is hiring a part‑time Sales Associate (April to October) to handle customer interactions and sales activities.

• Greeting customers and providing outstanding customer service.
• Operating the cash register, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Cross‑selling products to increase purchase amounts.
• Opening/closing store and completing the daily checklist.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior customer service experience is strongly preferred.

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work with others and take direction.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous attitude with guests at all times.
• Ability to work nights/weekends as assigned.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
