Summer Intern

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various radio functions or focus on one specific area such as sales, programming, or events.
• Conduct research and analysis.
• Assist in general office tasks.
• Prepare and deliver reports as required.
• Learn job processes and requirements in the assigned functions.
• Serve as an apprentice in the assigned function.
• May work with other interns on projects.
• Assist in developing and broadening interest in iHeart
  
  Media.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; active listening; ability to proofread and edit.
• Planning and organizing, focusing on urgent and important tasks, avoiding procrastination, showing attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
• Innovation and creativity.
• Leadership in peer relationships.

• Work experience in the media field is a plus.
• Career interest in the media industry.

• Full‑time undergraduates (rising junior or senior) at a four‑year college.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Media field of study a plus (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Broadcast Journalism).

• College/university transcript.
• Letter from the student’s school stating that the student will be granted credit for the internship.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Flexibility and creativity; ability to adapt to shifts in priorities and urgencies.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and Pinterest.
• Interpersonal skills: collaboration with others.
• Professionalism.

Hourly salary: $16.00 (to be determined by multiple factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications, and alignment with market data).
