Postdoctoral Fellow​/Research Scientist

Position Summary

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Scientist works on several federally funded projects on adolescent and young adult development related to race‑related stress, sleep, ethnic‑racial socialization, identity, social media use, and mental health. The position is renewable contingent on funding.

• Construct surveys needed for the study.
• Collect and analyze data.
• Prepare publications and conference presentations.
• Apply for additional funding.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate lab members.

• Ph.D. in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related social science.
• Minimum of one year of experience with at least one large, longitudinal dataset.

• Experience working in a collaborative research laboratory environment.
• Expertise with marginalized groups (ethnicity, race, immigration status, gender, sexual orientation, and weight).
• Experience with multi‑level methods (experience sampling, longitudinal surveys, biomarkers, observational methods, experimental designs, interviews, focus groups).

Minimum Starting Salary: $62,232
Maximum Starting Salary: $65,640.
