The job includes feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, grooming, bathing, walking horses, and turning horses out. These job duties only take place at the worksite listed. - June 15, but some mares we bring in early to get them acclimated to the new environment before they foal out which is why they come at the end of Nov. Some of our mares live at other farms until they are ready to foal, as we try to give our pastures a break in off season. The event which makes this seasonal is breeding as every other breeding farm in NY.
The horses are owned by Saratoga Glen Farm LLC. These activities take place during our peak season which spans from November 26, till September 20. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Hours are 7:00 a.m.
- 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. Monday
-Saturday, One hour for lunch 12:00pm- 1:00p.m.

The employer will provide convenient use of the kitchen in the 2/1 apartment - Fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils that enables the workers to prepare their own meals.
- Free transportation in a registered and insured vehicle will be provided at least once a week to the grocery store for the workers to purchase food and run errands.
- The registered and fully insured vehicle will be a 2011 Honda Pilot, which seats 5 persons and will be driven by a licensed driver.
- Transport:
The employer will provide reimbursement of transportation inbound to employment and outbound from the place of employment, and related subsistence costs. Workers will be reimbursed at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charge for the distance. Workers can choose their carrier transportation.
