The Global Security (GS) North America Physical Security team is a dynamic group of security professionals responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and assets in retail and corporate environments across North America. The GS Team oversees security protection, investigation, resiliency, and crisis management services, supporting JPMorgan

Chase globally. Responsibilities include developing security and safety policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing Security Guard operations, responding to alarms, monitoring branch and corporate building security, investigating physical crimes, addressing workplace violence, and managing fire and life safety.

• Ensuring the safety and security of critical areas and personnel
• Inspecting grounds and premises property
• Controlling and monitoring access to buildings
• Reporting fire and safety hazards
• Managing alarms and emergency response
• Performing counter surveillance
• Defusing difficult situations
• Participating in special event security or executive security
• Maintaining annual security clearance
• Conducting special event security

• Active State Security Guard License
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Training in fire safety and crime prevention
• Fire Watch Certification – Certificate of Fitness for Citywide Fire Guard for Impairment (F-01)
• Ability to handle physical requirements (vision 20/50, hearing normal at 10 feet)
• Practice normal hygiene and personal cleanliness, neat dress and appearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of critical infrastructure security operations, technical security, alarm management and mobile communication
• Customer and client focus

• Knowledge of critical infrastructure security operations, technical security, alarm management, mobile communication and incident reporting applications
• Training in fire safety and crime prevention
• Associate degree, US Military background with honorable discharge, and minimum 5 years prior Security Officer experience
• Fire Watch Certification – Certificate of Fitness for Citywide Fire Guard for Impairment (F-01) required
