Location:

Overseas, Camp Bondsteel Pristina, Kosovo.

Compensation: $38,000 per year to start.

Summary:

The Armed Security Guard provides security, installation access control, roving patrols, surveillance, monitoring and overall safeguarding to the installation and its tenants at a U.S. Army installation, which includes gym, workout facility, PX, Burger King, and MWR.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
• If U.S. military experience is referenced, candidate must have a DD214 within the last 10 years for verification.
• May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS‑Kosovo can sponsor new clearances).
• Must have 2 years’ experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or armed operations within the past 10 years.
• Must have completed a state‑recognized civilian security or law‑enforcement academy, or an armed forces security or law‑enforcement training program. Verification of training must be provided.
• Must have a current/active U.S. passport.
• Must have experience and knowledge of security operations.
• Must possess basic force protection experience.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing.
• Must pass a Physical Ability Test (run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 push‑ups in two minutes). Exceptions or waivers will not be allowed.
• Must be willing to undergo random drug testing upon request.
• Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. The employee may work different schedules and additional hours as assigned.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  The candidate must maintain necessary fitness and meet all physical and medical requirements as dictated by the U.S. Government client's contract.
