• Protect patients, visitors, employees and property across medical and academic campuses.
• Maintain access control in assigned areas and respond to emergency situations.
• Support a lawful environment for lifesaving care.

• Current NYS security guard license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of starting in role, and continued BCLS certification required every two years
• Driver's License required

• Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of collegiate coursework in criminal justice or a related field, or previous military experience
• Prior security experience

This position requires weekend Saturday and Sunday/holiday coverage.

Salary Range: $26.00/Hourly

On-site presence is required (variable by role); employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
