As a Security Guard - Bank Security Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries, such as financial institutions. In this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within the institution, deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond professionally to any situation while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the institution’s premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
• Document activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit of personnel and visitors as directed by guidelines.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and emergency responders during incidents and routine operations.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Minimum age 21 years (18 for unarmed roles, 21 for armed roles).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
