Location: New York
Security Officer – Night Shift – Holidays & Rotating Weekends
Join the Night Shift Security Officer team at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and help maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
As a Night Shift Security Officer, you will:
- Enforce security protocols and maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
- Conduct regular security patrols.
- Maintain incident logs and report irregularities.
- Assist staff and visitors as needed.
Preferred Criteria
- One year of security experience within a hospital or related medical setting.
- Valid driver’s license.
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 8 & 16 Hour Security Courses.
- NYS Security License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days of starting and every two years thereafter.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
Shift: 11:00 pm–7:00 am, including holidays and rotating weekends at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Salary Range: $23.42–$24.05 per hour.
