Full‑Time Security Officer – Mount Vernon, NY – $18.75 per hour

Location: Mount Vernon, NY

Post Type: Healthcare Facility – overnight shifts, patient/visitor interaction, facility patrols

• Patrol hospital grounds and monitor entry points
• Ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors throughout the facility
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls calmly and professionally
• Enforce site policies and assist with visitor management
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate incident records
• Support medical staff as needed during crisis or security‑related situations

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience (required)
• Valid New York State Security Guard License (required)
• Must comply with current COVID‑19 vaccination mandates
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm in high‑pressure or emergency situations
• Reliable transportation to Mount Vernon, NY
• Comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts
