As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor residential and shelter locations, conducting routine patrols to help deter security‑related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by performing security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within residential and shelter locations in a calm and problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential and shelter facilities and their perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter undesirable behavior and provide reassurance to residents, visitors, and staff.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist residents, visitors, and staff by providing directions or information and responding to security‑related inquiries.
• Support site operations by monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter unauthorized access.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid security‑related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
