Security Officer – Cleared; Clearance Required – Unarmed

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer – Cleared (Clearance Required – Unarmed). A Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and supports protecting classified information and personnel.

You will receive site-specific security training corresponding to your clearance level, enabling skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Pay Rate: $24.33 / Hour

Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations consider stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
  • Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
