As a Security Professional – Public Transit Patrol in Queens, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or situations that may impact the security-related operations of the transportation facility.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns as they arise.

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Part Time. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour.

Job Schedule:

Day Time:
Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM;
Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM.
