Security Officer – Government Patrol Full Coverage in Brooklyn, NY
. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and greeting visitors as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts by following evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary.
• Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Maintain professional communication with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed.

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
