Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. We need someone with a sharp eye and attention to detail to monitor screens and detect threats before they arise in a variety of environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

  Middle Island, New York
• Schedule:
  
  Monday and Tuesday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• Competitive hourly wage of $18.50 (Daily Pay available for employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong report-writing skills
• Exceptional visual and concentration skills
• Proficiency with technology
• Previous Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license, if required
