As a Security Officer - Museum Roving Patrol in New York, NY

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout interactions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the performing arts center and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, potential hazards, and any unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor management to help maintain a secure environment for cultural events and daily operations.
• Support Allied Universal and the client by following all site-specific protocols and procedures, including those related to emergency preparedness and response.

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles and 18 for unarmed roles.
• Guard Card or security license preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required, as permitted by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
