- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout interactions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the performing arts center and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment.
- Observe and report security-related concerns, potential hazards, and any unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control and visitor management to help maintain a secure environment for cultural events and daily operations.
- Support Allied Universal and the client by following all site-specific protocols and procedures, including those related to emergency preparedness and response.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles and 18 for unarmed roles.
- Guard Card or security license preferred.
- State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation and drug screen required, as permitted by law.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
