As a Security Guard – CRE Location Patrol in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real‑estate, and more. As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial‑real‑estate location, helping to deter security‑related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while supporting access‑control measures.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real‑estate property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with access control, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
