Temporary Security Officer – Special Detail (Healthcare Facility)
Location: Washington Heights, Manhattan, NY
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Temporary Assignment – Morning, Evening & Overnight Shifts Available
We are seeking experienced, professional Security Officers for a temporary special security detail at a healthcare facility in Manhattan. Officers will be assigned to support site security operations during an upcoming labor strike. This role requires a strong presence, professionalism, and the ability to remain alert for extended periods.
This assignment also presents potential opportunities for permanent placement for top-performing officers.
Responsibilities- Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times
- Monitor access points and surrounding areas to ensure safety and order
- Observe, report, and document any unusual or suspicious activity
- Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and the public
- Follow all post orders, site protocols, and company procedures
- Minimum 1 year of prior security experience required
- Ability to stand and remain on post for the duration of assigned shifts
- Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and reliable attendance
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-visibility environment
- Valid NYS Security Guard License (must be current and in good standing)
- Competitive pay at $25.00/hour
