As a Security Officer – Medical Center Patrol – Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence will support a welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors.

- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities according to site procedures.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with emergency personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to those on the premises.
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
