Operations Security Master Associate

Pay Rate: $90-$100/HR
Establish, Configure, and Maintain the firm’s central Security Reference Data repository and its related infrastructure.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all critical internal reference data platforms (such as Markit EDM, Everest, and VPM), managing the inter-system data synchronization to prevent fragmentation.
This responsibility encompasses managing various data domains, including instrument details, organizational hierarchies, market variables (Currency, Country), counter party information (Brokers, Issuers), and mandate classification (Funds, Strategies, Security Types).
Conduct daily and monthly reconciliation of CLO trustee reports to identify and rectify data discrepancies; provide dedicated support and clarification to external trustees.
Liaise extensively with the Compliance team to guarantee adherence to regulatory and internal policies for new instrument onboarding, collaborate with Operations for accurate asset booking and valuation, and provide essential data support to the Front Office for seamless trading execution.
Develop and implement governance procedures to continuously monitor and improve the quality and completeness of all security master data.
Minimum of five years experience in a directly related data management, investment operations, or financial services role.
Mandatory deep expertise in Security Master data structures and Reference Data principles.
A strong grasp of data quality standards, data completeness protocols, and robust control environments within a financial services setting.
Prior familiarity with market data terminals (like Bloomberg) and specific internal platforms (such as EDM, VPM, Everest, or Markit Partners) is a significant advantage.
Desirable knowledge of credit ratings and the methodologies of key agencies (S&P, Moody’s, Fitch, DBRS, Kroll).
Beneficial understanding of a range of complex asset classes, including Bank Loans, Fixed Income instruments, Structured Products, and Derivatives.
