Campus Monitor​/Security

Our client, an educational institution dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming environment, is seeking a Campus Monitor/Security to join their team. As a Campus Monitor/Security, you will be part of the campus safety team supporting the overall security and well‑being of students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate vigilance, reliability, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Campus Monitor/Security

Location: Yorktown Heights, NY

Pay Range: 18.50/hr.

Shift: Multiple shifts available, including early mornings and afternoons, from as early as 6:30 am to as late as 7:30 pm

• Sign in anyone coming to school buildings to ensure security protocols are followed
• Check IDs of visitors and staff to maintain a secure environment
• Monitor parking lot activity to ensure safety and order
• Oversee bus arrivals and departures to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with screenings and security procedures as needed

• At least 2 years of previous law enforcement or security experience
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings and afternoons
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to perform screenings and enforce safety protocols
