As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
