Alliance is hiring Security Officers. As a key member of the Corporate Security Team, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, employees, and clients. This role combines professional security practices with exceptional customer service to deliver a first-class experience at any one of our NYC premier Class-A commercial properties.
Responsibilities
Security Presence:
Conduct regular patrols of the building, lobby, common areas, loading dock, parking facilities, stairwells, and perimeter to maintain a visible security presence and identify potential safety concerns.
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide a professional, courteous, and welcoming presence at building entrances, lobbies, and reception areas while delivering exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests.
Access Control:
Monitor building access, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and ensure all visitors, contractors, and vendors comply with established security procedures.
Surveillance Operations:
Monitor CCTV systems, access control platforms, alarms, and other security technology to detect and respond to unusual activity.
Security Reporting:
Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely reports documenting incidents, observations, patrol activities, and daily operations using digital reporting systems.
Safety & Policy Enforcement:
Enforce building rules, safety procedures, and security policies while maintaining a calm, respectful, and service-oriented approach.
Communication &
Collaboration:
Maintain effective communication with building management, tenants, property staff, and fellow security personnel to support daily operations and ensure a safe environment.
- Experience:
1-2 year
Valid NY State Security Guard License (that won’t expire for 3 months)
Minimum of 1 year of professional security experience
