Special Events Staff

Position Summary

Tact Tech Security Solutions is seeking professional, reliable, and customer‑service‑oriented individuals to join our Event Staffing Team
. As part of our event security personnel, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at a variety of public and private events, including concerts, festivals, corporate gatherings, sporting events, and more.

• Greet and screen guests upon entry, ensuring compliance with event and security protocols.
• Monitor crowd activity to identify and respond to potential security concerns or disturbances.
• Assist in directing foot traffic, managing lines, and enforcing access control at designated entry and exit points.
• Conduct bag checks, metal detection screening, and other security measures as required.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, or medical situations in accordance with Tact Tech protocols.
• Provide information and customer service to attendees while maintaining a visible and professional security presence.
• Complete incident reports and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and law enforcement, if needed.
• Ensure all event areas remain secure and hazard‑free throughout the event duration.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in event staffing, crowd control, or security preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks, including walking and directing crowds.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) is a plus.
• Familiarity with two‑way radios and incident documentation.
• Possession of a valid Florida Class “D” Security License (or ability to obtain prior to employment) is highly recommended but not required.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
