Guardian Security Services is seeking Professional & Experienced Security Supervisor to support a commercial property in New York City

This is a client-facing role where officers help maintain the safety and security of the building while providing a professional presence for tenants, guests, and vendors

The position is ideal for individuals who demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a polished, professional demeanor appropriate for a Commercial environment

Security Supervisor Responsibilities

Security Supervisor may perform a combination of the following duties depending on site needs:

Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors

Monitor building access points and maintain awareness of building activity

Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the building

Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems

Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionally

Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports

Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required

Maintain control and documentation of building and concierge keys

Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations

Coordinate with building management and property staff to support daily operations

Enforce building policies while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor

Maintain clear communication during shift transitions to ensure operational continuity

Requirements

Security Supervisor

Qualifications:

Valid New York State Security Guard License

8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate

16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate

Prior experience as a Security Supervisor in residential security, corporate security, concierge security, or customer-facing security roles preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and polished demeanor

Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as require
