Fire Life Safety Director – Class A Office Building, Manhattan (Evening Shift)
TF Cornerstone Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Fire Life Safety Director to join our team at a premier Class A office property in Manhattan. This individual will play a vital role in implementing the property’s Emergency and Life Safety Plan, safeguarding building occupants and assets, and leading lobby operations with a professional and authoritative presence.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage lobby operations during the evening shift
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the building
- Monitor life safety systems and report any deficiencies
- Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies, alarms, and elevator entrapments
- Enforce building access policies using card access and visitor management systems
- Supervise and support building staff, ensuring adherence to safety procedures
- Monitor CCTV and other security systems to detect suspicious or unsafe activity
- Conduct fire extinguisher inspections and identify fire hazards
- Maintain thorough logs and prepare detailed incident and inspection reports
- Assist with drills, training, and emergency response planning
- Valid NYS Security Guard License – Required
- Valid F-89 Fire Life Safety Director Certification with Active Shooter Training – Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in building security, fire safety, law enforcement, or related fields
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and security software
- Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations
- Reliable transportation and availability for scheduled shifts
- Pay Rate: $25.00-$28.00/hour, commensurate with experience
