As a Security Officer Unarmed Incident Response in Troy, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $21.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information through required reports and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
