CCTV Operator / Surveillance Officer(Security Department)

City Safe Partners is hiring a CCTV Operator / Surveillance Officer for a corporate office post at 90 Church Street in Lower Manhattan. You’ll monitor live surveillance feeds, act as the dispatch point for on-site security personnel, and manage visitor and vendor check-in. This role suits a detail-oriented security professional who stays alert during long monitoring periods and communicates clearly with visitors, staff, and response teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV camera feeds and surveillance systems to identify and report suspicious activity
• Serve as the dispatch point: receive and route incoming calls, and coordinate response with on-site personnel
• Log incidents accurately and promptly as they occur
• Perform check-in duties at the front desk or security desk, including verifying visitor and vendor access
• Maintain accurate entry logs and confirm credentials before granting access
• Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, staff, and on-site security teams

Requirements

• Valid NYS Security Guard License (required)
• Prior experience with CCTV monitoring or surveillance systems (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay alert during extended monitoring periods
• Basic computer skills for incident logging and dispatching
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and customer-service demeanor suited to a corporate office environment

Compensation and Schedule

• $25.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience
