Job Purpose:
- The Armed Security Officer at SERVEXO, located in Kings Point, NY, is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises and personnel. This role involves maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates. - Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, providing assistance to emergency services as needed. - Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. - Escort or drive motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection. - Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience. - Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and readiness to respond to any security threats or breaches. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
Job Type: Full time, part-time Hourly rate: $31.21H&W rate: 7.73

Day, Swing, Grave## Qualifications Required Education/Certification/License:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid SPO Armed License
* CPR Certification
* Baton Certification
* Certificate of Firearms training
* Valid Driver’s License
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must be at least 21 years of age
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role. - Previous experience working as an armed security officer is preferred. - Familiarity with security protocols and emergency procedures.

- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. - Strong observational and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency in using security equipment and technology. - Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid state-issued armed security license. - Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including standing for extended periods and patrolling designated areas.
