As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Corporate Building Patrol in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support the implementation of property policies and security-related procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrol findings, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
