At Snider Fleet Solutions, we’re committed to excellence! If you take pride in your work and are an experienced OTR Tire Technician, we want you on our team! Must have a minimum of 3 years OTR experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Job Summary:
OTR Tire Technicians work offsite in a company provided service truck in order to service customers with all OTR tire and wheel related needs; including replacing, inspecting, repairing, and properly mounting/dismounting all OTR (construction, earthmoving, mining, agriculture, etc.) tire and wheel related products.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Driver’s License: Valid Class A or B CDL Driver’s License and must be insurable to drive by company standards
  • Medical Certification: Current DOT Medical Certification
  • Certifications:

TIA Level 300 with OTR supplement training within first 3 months of hire date

TIA Level 200 required at time of onboarding

MSHA (Mine Safety & Health Administration) certification before servicing any MSHA mandated sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely service customer equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Operate hydraulic jacks, power hoists, and lug wrenches to service OTR tires
  • Mount and dismount various OTR tires according to industry best practices
  • Travel up to 75% within the region to meet customer and company needs
  • Adhere to TIA standards, policies, and safety practices

Skills and Abilities:

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills, and high level of attention to detail
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies
  • Ability to work rotating, on call schedule to include some nights and weekend shifts
  • Pass background check and drug screen
