Position OverviewThe Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer locations to handle the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pumps and fans in industrial, commercial, and residential settings.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Installation:
Properly install new pumps and fans according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. - Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on pumps and fans to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan. - Repair:
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning pumps and fans promptly to minimize downtime. - Calibration:
Calibrate pumps and fans to ensure accurate performance according to required specifications. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced, and other relevant details.
- Hands-on mechanical/technical experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Experience with a proven track record in customer satisfaction
- Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards to maintain safe working conditions.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, such as OSHA, and utilization of appropriate PPE.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 75 lbs.
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of working in confined spaces and at heights, adhering to proper safety procedures.
