Night Shift Brake Technician - Jericho, NY
Start pay for the market: $20.00 - $23.00/hr with a $1 shift differential.
Work location:
336 N Broadway, Jericho, NY .
Shift information: 4‑day work week option 9 PM‑7 AM, 5‑day work week option 9 AM‑6 PM.
About the Role:
What will you do?
- Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
- Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventive maintenance, and tire installation.
- Learn/training to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
- Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventive maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- ASE Certification(s).
- Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience.
