Electrical Apprentice

Position Summary

Upstate Companies I, LLC is seeking an entry-level Electrical Apprentice who will work with electricians to learn the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified electrician.

• Assist electricians:
  Help electricians with their tasks, such as installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
• Learn electrical systems:
  Learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand electrical systems.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
• Prepare work areas.
• Use tools:
  Use measuring equipment, power tools and hand tools.
• Follow safety codes:
  Adhere to health and safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain a daily log of work performed.
• Complete assignments:
  Attend training classes and complete training assignments.

• Embrace a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
• Able to work both independently and as a team.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Decision making ability.
• Strong customer service skills with focus on providing solutions.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation

Salary is $15-25 hourly
