Overview

Heating Technician Gas Oil Burner Mechanic at C.C. Controlled Combustion Co. Inc. is a position in which you will service gas and oil burners for commercial customers in the New York Metropolitan area.

• Maintain, repair, and service gas and oil burners at various customer locations.
• Adjust and install commercial temperature controls and devices.
• Work with electrical circuits and troubleshooting as needed.
• Fire and adjust burners for maximum efficiency.

• Education:
  
  High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Experience:
  
  Servicing gas and/or oil burners – 1 year (Preferred).
• License/Certification:
  Driver’s License (Preferred).
• Knowledge/
  
  Skills:
  
  Understanding of combustion theory; experience with gas & oil burners, atmospheric boilers, condensing boilers, Scotch Marine fire tube boilers; proficiency with electrical meters, combustion gas analyzers, hand tools; strong customer service skills; ability to troubleshoot combustion failures and open limits.
