Stone Bridge Iron & Steel is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs machinery, fork trucks, overhead cranes, automotive and physical structures in industrial establishment by performing the following duties.

• Performs highly diversified duties to install, repair, and maintain production machines, fork trucks, cranes & delivery vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electro mechanical issues, diesel, pneumatic and hydraulics.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, period inspections, and preventive maintenance of forklifts, industrial machinery, cranes, welders, and vehicles.
• Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Uses a variety of hand power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detects faulty equipment and is proactive with repairs & reports unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Complies with OSHA safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.

• High school diploma, GED, or technical school education; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiar with overhead cranes, fabrication procedures, and machine setup.
• Proficient in use of hand tools, grinders, welders, and cranes.
• Ability to fabricate parts and supports as needed using shop tools and welders.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and tape measure usage.
• Physical requirements:
  
  stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Exposure to wet, cold, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, outdoor weather, aerial work, vibration, and high noise levels.
