Heavy Equipment Operator Auburn, NY

RYCOE Enterprises Inc. is looking to expand our team with an experienced full-time Heavy Equipment Operator.

• Operate heavy excavation equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, and excavators with precision and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Excavate earth, rocks, and other materials to prepare construction sites according to project specifications.
• Organize equipment, tools and job site materials to ensure effective and efficient workflows.
• Shoot grade and operate heavy equipment safely, efficiently and to industry standards.
• Collaborate with crew and clients throughout the job process to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Provide daily updates to Operations manager to address & resolve any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, hours worked, and equipment use as required by project management.

• 2+ years experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with crew members and customers.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required and a CDL class A license is a plus!
• Proven ability to tow & back up equipment trailers; safely load, unload & secure equipment in accordance with industry standards/regulations.
• Proven ability to safely, properly and efficiently use power tools and equipment such as lasers, demo saws, heavy equipment & attachments.
• Ability to read blueprints and create a work plan; a plus to have experience operating GPS systems.
• Creative problem‑solving skills and ability to think outside the box with a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to continue to grow skills & knowledge of the company & industry.
