**** The job involves:
*** Maintenance, new installations and retrofits for plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
* Ensuring the completion of all “on-demand” work orders and “preventative maintenance” work orders
* Inspecting and certifying work to ensure compliance with project specifications and municipal building codes.
* Working with external contractors by providing escorts, assistance and direction
* Excellent guest service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests
* Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
* Working independently and in a team environment
* Flexible to support a 24/7 operation
** The ideal candidate has:
*** Minimum 5 years progressive Plumbing experience
* Valid Certificate of Qualifications for Plumbing- 306A ticket
* Gas or steam fitter license
* Previous experience in the hospitality and/or service industry
* Skills in all aspects of general construction and all trades
* Ability to read blueprints
* Knowledge and experience with Victaulic rolled groove pipe and fittings an asset
* Knowledge and experience with the Victaulic press fit piping system and asset
* Must hold a class G Driver’s License
* First Aid/CPR certificate and Fire extinguishing handling an asset
