Position Overview

AMA Design Build is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support daily operations on high-end residential and commercial construction projects. This hands‑on role is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites, as well as protecting newly installed finishes and existing structures.

Role Responsibilities
  • Perform daily site maintenance, including sweeping, trash removal, and debris disposal into designated dumpsters
  • Install temporary protective coverings on floors, walls, and other finished surfaces to prevent damage during construction
  • Assist with general labor tasks needed to support site supervisors and tradespeople
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Travel to job sites throughout NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT as required
Education

High School Diploma

Qualifications
  • Prior experience on construction sites preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team‑player attitude
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites
