Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects
- Perform a wide range of carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and custom woodworking
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project requirements
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, flooring, and trim
- Maintain and properly use carpentry tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct regular quality checks on completed work
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices on the job site
- Assist in material estimation and inventory management
- Mentor and support junior carpenters in developing their skills
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress and any issues
- 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Advanced carpentry skills and proficiency in various woodworking techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA)
- Thorough understanding of construction industry standards, building codes, and regulations
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites within Dubai
- Valid UAE driver's license preferred
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to meeting project goals efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
