Carpenter Overview

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects
• Perform a wide range of carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and custom woodworking
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project requirements
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, flooring, and trim
• Maintain and properly use carpentry tools and equipment
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met
• Conduct regular quality checks on completed work
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices on the job site
• Assist in material estimation and inventory management
• Mentor and support junior carpenters in developing their skills
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress and any issues

• 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
• Advanced carpentry skills and proficiency in various woodworking techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA)
• Thorough understanding of construction industry standards, building codes, and regulations
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites within Dubai
• Valid UAE driver's license preferred
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to meeting project goals efficiently
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
