Job Description
Evident Process Heat and Power is currently hiring a full time Boiler Technician.
This position is responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing and the maintenance of commercial / low pressure and high-pressure boilers and all related boiler equipment.
Job Responsibility- Have knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Monitor boiler operations and maintain required logs.
- Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
- Ability to travel to various job sites.
- Detailed oriented.
- Able to work in team environment.
- Respond effectively to all emergencies.
- Having a working knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, burners (gas, oil & combination), associated controls & electrical circuits, combustion, and associated piping systems is a PLUS.
- Familiar with instrumentation and controls is a PLUS.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- Mechanical Knowledge : 1 year
- Knowledge of Siemens applications
- Troubleshooting : 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and / or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions.
