Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) & Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Infrastructure

Salary: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience

Shift: Weekend night shift, Friday through Monday, 10‑hour shifts, covering four sites in NYC

On behalf of our client, we are offering an opportunity to join their growing operations team, servicing advanced alternative fuel infrastructure in the New York City area. This is a hands‑on field service role focused on maintaining high‑performance CNG and RNG fueling stations.

In this position, you will travel between sites to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems related to fueling equipment. You will ensure operational reliability by interpreting schematics, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining detailed maintenance records.

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet state driving requirements
• Strong mechanical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge or experience with HVAC systems, CNG and/or RNG infrastructure, including compressors, pumps, valves, actuators, dryers, piping, and fittings
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
• Proficiency using service software and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing, and operating tools
• Able to work independently in varying weather conditions
